Terms of Use

Purpose of the app

MedsGuardian helps you organize medication schedules, recorded doses, family profiles, wellness measurements, care contacts, appointments, and notes. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency monitoring. Follow your clinician’s and pharmacist’s instructions. Do not change a medication or dose based solely on app content, catalog results, reports, or reminders. Contact local emergency services when urgent help is needed.

Your responsibilities

Check that medication names, strengths, schedules, profile assignments, and entries are accurate. A recorded dose reflects an entry made in the app and does not independently verify that medication was taken. You are responsible for deciding what information to enter, reviewing exports before sharing, and protecting your device and backups.

Use family profiles only for people whose information you are authorized to manage. The app is intended to be operated by adults managing their own care or assisting others. Family profiles do not provide remote monitoring or access from another caregiver’s device.

Reminders and availability

Notifications depend on device permissions, settings, operating system behavior, and device availability. Delivery or timing cannot be guaranteed. Maintain another way to follow essential care instructions. Features may require a supported device, a compatible iOS version, permission, or an internet connection. Catalog and third-party service availability may change.

Free features and Premium

The app offers limited free use and optional Premium subscriptions. Available plans, features, billing periods, prices, taxes, and any trial conditions are shown before purchase in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. Website pricing is informational; the App Store confirmation controls the amount charged.

Payment is handled through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal under the terms shown by Apple. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law; see Apple’s refund instructions. Use the app’s restore purchases option when applicable.

App license and acceptable use

The app is licensed, not sold. Your App Store download is subject to the license terms presented with the app, including Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement where applicable. These terms do not replace the applicable App Store license or Apple’s purchase terms.

You may use the website and app for their intended, lawful purposes. Do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse another person’s information, or copy and redistribute our branding or materials without permission or a legal right. You retain your rights in the information you enter.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, including local records, Apple Health permissions, subscription services, and website analytics. Apple, RevenueCat, medication catalog providers, and other destinations you choose have their own applicable terms. We do not control third-party services or the information you share with them.

Disclaimers and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free information, or suitability for a particular medical need. SimpleApp4U is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user entries, missed notifications, unavailable third-party services, or lost local records to the extent the law permits that limitation.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies available to you. The applicable App Store license may also describe warranties and limitations.

Changes and ending use

Features and these terms may change over time. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes as required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Export any records you need before deleting the app, and cancel an active subscription separately through Apple if you do not want it to renew.
