Information you keep in the app

The app stores the records you enter on your device, including family profiles and photos, medications, schedules, dose history, measurements, doctors, pharmacies, appointments, notes, and attachments. Family profiles are managed on one iPhone; they are not shared caregiver accounts. The app does not upload these records to a SimpleApp4U account or cloud database.

App extensions use shared on-device storage to display widgets and handle medication actions. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings. Reports you export, files you save, and information you share are handled by the destinations you choose.

Apple Health and permissions

Apple Health access is optional and controlled by your permission choices. Supported health information is read or written to provide the synchronization you enable for the designated device-owner profile. Other family profiles use manually entered measurements. Health information is not used for advertising or sent to RevenueCat or website analytics.

You can change Health permissions in Apple Health or device settings. Revoking permission stops future access; it does not automatically remove records already stored in the app or Apple Health. Notifications, photos, and file access support the features you choose to use. Reminder text may be visible on your lock screen or widgets; adjust your device notification previews and widget settings to suit your privacy needs.

Medication catalog searches

When you search the medication catalog, the search text is sent to the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s Clinical Tables service to retrieve matching medication names and strengths. As with other internet requests, the service receives connection information such as your IP address. Do not enter names or other personal details in catalog searches. Your saved profiles and medication history are not included in these search requests.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps the app check subscription status and restore purchases. This involves purchase and transaction information, an app user identifier, and technical information needed to provide the subscription service. We do not receive your full payment card details. Website visits

This website is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Analytics may include pages visited, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate country. Vercel Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies or identify visitors across websites. Hosting also involves processing connection information needed to serve and secure the website. Support and disclosures

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and troubleshoot issues. Please avoid sending medical records or unnecessary sensitive information. Service providers process information needed for hosting, email, and purchases. We may disclose information we hold when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell your health records or use them for targeted advertising.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

You control records stored in the app and can remove records using its editing and deletion controls. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but does not cancel a subscription or delete exported copies, device backups, or records in Apple Health. Manage those separately in their respective services. We cannot retrieve or delete records that remain only on your device.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for subscription administration and legal requirements. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of information we hold about you, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable privacy terms.

Family profiles and children

Family profiles let an adult organize care for people they are authorized to assist, including children. They do not create online accounts for children. Only enter or share another person’s information when you have appropriate authority. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can address it.

Security and policy changes

Protect your device, backups, and exported reports with appropriate access controls. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy when features or practices change, and will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
